I know its been a while since i've last updated this blog of mine. there's been a lot of shit happening recently, namely
- my computer breaking down
- diving trip @ dayang
- rehearsal for musical
- 45th anniversary dinner
- and my computer breaking down , again.
under normal circumstance, i would upload all the photos that I'd have taken on these trips but given the fact that it has a total of almost 1gb worth of (average) 380kb pictures..its gonna take one helluva time. anyway, today's update is gonna be a small one about the recent findings i made
- Angeline is actually a girl in the united states who advertises herself on billboards
- Ingrid means "beautiful god" in some language, probably greek
- Nigel is a combination of Neil, and Nigger
- Felicia means happiness
- Robin means fame
- Michelle means godlike
- Andrew means manly
- Sandy is the short form for alexander/alexandra
- Esther means hidden, probably in hebrew
- Melissa was turned into a worm, then into a queen bee, in greek mythology
- Jocelin was a bishop in the 10th century
- Nicole means victorious people, originated from greek
- The name Nicholas evolved from Nicole, meaning victory of the people, also from greek
- Justin means fair and just, in latin
- Randy means wolf with a shield
That's all the names the i have found so far. My comp is starting to laggggg on me again, so till my comp is back, posts will be VERY irregular.
